Our unique development has been named as a finalist for the Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Awards, as well as the Urban Developer Awards for Development of the Year – Industrial.
Split into two warehouses at 20,300m2 and 14,690m2 each, the new facility has enabled Visy to realise significant cost savings relating to distribution and product loss, whilst also rejuvenating a dilapidated site in Melbourne’s inner west.
What is particularly unique to the development was acknowledging the rich industrial heritage of the site and Spotswood, by preserving recycled timber for public pocket parks, and the incorporation of several large murals completed by internationally recognised local Australian street artists Kitt Bennett and Georgia Hill.
Congratulations to Mitchell Kent and Jamie Fowler for their work on the development and achieving this recognition.
